Privately owned managed hosting company ActiveServers Inc announced this week that it has extended its partnership with SmarterTools Inc wherein the former will continue distributing the latter’s software. ActiveServers Inc is an authorized bundle provider of cheap dedicated servers. According to the press release, ActiveServers Inc will continue giving SmarterMail 6.x, SmarterTrack 4.x, and SmarterStats 4.x to dedicated server customers at zero rates. The software bundle costs $800 but the additional features are given without any charges.ActiveServers Inc President Robert Handshy said that they are excited with the opportunity to continue distributing SmarterTools’ software because their customers can still avail of the flexibility to chose the software that are right for them. This is made possible by the built in options in the bundle and that should they want to upgrade their software, they can still also do so.SmarterMail is a Windows-based email server with a stable infrastructure, thanks to the unparalleled stability and other advanced features embedded in this server. SmarterTrack on the other hand, is a reliable help desk application built for tracking, reporting and managing communications, sales and other support issues. SmarterStats is an online log analytics tool that allows the customers to identify Internet trends and analyze online statistics which could be useful when it comes to targeting audiences. This continued partnership means that the businesses from both companies are flourishing and that they are targeting an expansion in the near future.
