Domains 101: Fun and Useful Things You Can Do with Domain Names; Part 3 of 3
In Part 1 of this series we discussed how to pick
a great domain name, and in Part 2 we reviewed
where to register and how to manage them. In this
the final section, we’re going to discuss some
uses for multiple domains.
Before you become a “domain connoisseur,”
you need to understand the advantages of owning
more then one domain and what you can do with them:
1) Redirects: Maybe when you registered your
site there were other names you liked as well,
or perhaps you registered the .net version
of your name. It’s very easy to point these
names to your existing site so when someone
types in one of these alternate domain names
in their browser, they’ll still wind up at
your site.
For example EzineAdAuction.com or
EzineAdAuction.com
(MERLE: THESE ARE THE SAME! WAS ONE
SUPPOSED TO BE A .net?)
will both take you to the
same place. Your web host can set this up
for you. Some charge a small monthly fee
for this service. You can use these alternate
names in your advertising.
If your name can be easily misspelled, make
sure to register any variations and redirect
them to your site. This will also keep
your competitors from registering them and
infringing on your traffic, while sending all those
who can’t spell to the right place.
Remember that other domain names don’t have
to point to your main page; they can be
forced to point to certain pages or sections
of your site as you deem fit.
2) Mini Sites: By monitoring hot trends online
you can quickly register a domain name and
design a mini site around one product or
service. If promoted correctly, mini sites
can be good residual money makers. These are
great for pushing and making affiliate sales.
3) Domains as Commodoties: Some people buy domains simply
to resell them at a profit. If you purchase
the right names, it is possible to sell them to
the highest bidder. Selling domains at auction
sites has increased in popularity and is a great
way to move your domain inventory. Some of the
better known auction sites are:
http://www.Afternic.com
One of the most popular places for buying and
selling domains. You’ll have to upgrade to
an Exchange Membership for $49.00
http://www.GreatDomains.com
No membership fee to list your domains, but
you’ll pay a 15% commission fee to them if
you sell.
http://www.ebay.com/
They actually have a section for selling your
domain names. Upon entering Ebay, do a search
in the search box for “domains.”
Before putting your domains up for sale, you
may want to have them appraised so you know
what they’re worth. You’ll find many appraisal
services online to help you do just that.
http://www.EchoArts.com
Appraisals start at only 6.95 and go up to
14.95 for an analysis that includes a
hard copy.
http://www.dbappraisals.com/
Domain appraisals start out at only $20.00
4) Shrink Them: Despite your best efforts to come
up with a name that’s short and concise, you
may end up settling for something longer then you’d like.
There are free services you can use to shorten
them into something more manageable. When these
new links are pasted into a browser they go to
your site. If you’re promoting any kind of
associate program, these types of services come
in extra handy for dealing with those extra long
domain names they give you. They also help
to hid the fact that you’re using an affiliate link.
http://TinyUrl.com
I love this service. Just paste your long domain
into the window and it spits out a version
so short you won’t believe it’s possible.
Great for using in your ezine to break long
domain links into shorter ones so they don’t
break off in unexpected places.
http://www.shorl.com/
Shorl offers not only url shortening but
statistics as to how many people click
on your new short name.
http://makeashorterlink.com/
Make shorter link is another free service
where you just type in your long url and
click the “make shorter link” button and
you’re set.
As you can see, there’s more to domains then
meets the eye. As you find yourself collecting
more and more names you need to be aware of
all of the creative ways you can use them in
your daily business. Sell them, shorten them, redirect
them; but above all, use them in your online
ventures and you’ll generate more income.

How To Find Editing Services Online
Quality is what you need. What you don’t have is time. You need to find an editing service online that can help you get the work you need done, quickly and effectively. But, where do you look? Where can you find such a service and know that it is of good quality? While it would have been a difficult task to find an editing service online a few years ago, there is now an ever growing supply of them. You’ll find quite a selection to choose from as well. Here are some guidelines that may help you in finding not only a service to use, but a good quality one at that.
First off, you need to know what you want from your service. If you are just in need of a few editing projects, you might want to look at price and a larger company that can get the work to you first. But, if you are looking to build a good relationship with a company and provide continuous projects, you should look for an individual who can work with you. This is because an individual can adjust easily to your needs and provide you with a personal touch. A larger firm, on the other hand, will push through the work and request payment quickly. You can find an editing service online that can do either.
Another thing you need to consider is reliability and the willingness to guarantee their work. A quality online editing company should provide great quality the first time, but if it isn’t accurate for one reason or another, will they revise? And, will they provide a contract guaranteeing their work to be what you want, in the right time frame and for the right money? You can find a freelance editor that can work with you one on one, but they too should provide for you the services you need. While there is never going to be a perfect editor, the best one for you will provide you with what you need, in your timeframe and within your budget. There are many hundreds of online editing companies that can do just that for you.

Instant Credit Card Approval - Can It Work For You?
The possibility of getting your own credit card by the means of online instant credit card approval is a reality of the times. It only takes a few minutes to fill out your application, and then, in just a few short minutes you can have your answer. This could be the thing you have been waiting for. Have you received yours yet?
Getting your instant approval credit cards may be only a few minutes away for you, as you fill-out your secure online credit approval forms. But before you start the process, there are a few things you will want to know that you should look for when it comes to getting the best credit card for you.
In order to get the best deal on an instant credit card approval online, you will need to do a little research. It pays to look for the best deals with instant approval credit cards, so if your credit rating is good - why not go for one of the best? Here is what to look for.
A Good APR
A credit card is only as good as its APR. Once it loses its edge there - its time to think about another one. It is possible to get 0% APR cards that hold that rate for up to 15 months. While a number of cards will offer this feature, it may be only for three months, or six months. After the introductory time period, remember that the APR goes to the regular rate — so be sure you get both a good introductory rate, and a rate as low as possible after that period is passed.
Permits Balance Transfers
Balance transfers from other credit cards are one thing that makes a good credit card - if you have any credit card debt. Not all cards will allow you to do this. But again, it is important that you make sure that you have a 0% APR balance transfer rate. Some cards will charge a fee for this transaction.
Look For The Bonuses
Your instant approval credit cards should have some really great bonuses - this is what makes one card better than another. There is quite a bit of leeway when it comes to the value of all the options mentioned - but this is the icing on the cake. Bonuses are usually referred to as being cash back, or rebate cards. Some come with great options up front –received as soon as you make your first purchase. This could be in the form of 10,000 points - which are as good as cash, or can be exchanged for prizes, or, a travel type card might give you as many as 5-20,000 air miles - on your first purchase. Other cards offer rebates for purchases on such things as groceries, medicines, and gas. Make your decision based on what your greatest needs are, and it will be a great benefit to you, in the form of extra savings. This will help put a smile on your face when you get your monthly statement.
Check The Annual Fee
Some companies will also charge you an annual fee on your instant approval credit cards.
Look for an annual fee because it could take away some of the value of your benefits if you have to pay a yearly fee of anywhere between $15 to $135.
With this many tips on how to get your instant approval credit card online, again, we ask - what are you waiting for? It will only take a few minutes.
To decide if an instant credit card approval is right for you, Robert Alan recommends that you visit CreditCardAssist.com

Latin Ringtones Mean Dinero for Ringtone Providers
Latin Ringtones Mean Mucho Dinero to Ringtone Providers
By Anthony Wayne
Editor – Cool Ringtones Blog (www.coolringtones.blogspot.com)
Until recently, when you thought of ringtones, you usually thought of hip-hop ringtones. This is not surprising given the genre’s wide acceptance of ringtones and cell phones and such smash chart crashers as 50-Cent ringtones, Snoop Dogg ringtones, and Lil Kim ringtones.
But ringtone operators are now starting to see the value in Latin ringtones, especially in the urban Hispanic market—one often referred to as “hurban” by marketers. While the market for Latin ringtones is exploding in Mexico, Central America, and South America, major Latin acts have failed to reach the coveted Billboard Ringtone Charts…yet.
Latin ringtones may be the lone remaining untapped pot of gold for ringtone sellers. “The Ketchup Song, by Las Ketchup was on our top ten list about three years ago,” said Bob Bentz, director of marketing at Ringingphone.com. “Then, there’s the traditional cross-over ringtones like Ricky Martin’s Livin’ La Vida Loca and Los Del Rio’s Macarena that are consistent sellers. We have good sellers with Juan Gabriel ringtones, Selena ringtones, and Marc Anthony ringtones, but, for the most part, our business is still mainly about rap ringtones and hip-hop ringtones. But, we like the opportunities in the Hispanic market and continue to expand our offerings.”
Bentz has reason to be excited. It is a well-known fact that the market for ringtones has been driven by teens and young adults. According to the US Census Bureau, Hispanics will be the largest teen minority group by next year and will be twenty percent of the overall American teen population in 2015. Moreover, Hispanics, according to Forrester Research, tend to buy more multi-media capable phones and replace their handsets more frequently. Hispanics are also larger spenders on cell phones with monthly bills $10 higher than the national average. Twelve percent of Hispanics use mobile data services like ringtones compare to only seven percent, according to the Forrester report.
So, the next time you hear a ringtone, it may have a Latin flavor to it.

Wheatgrass Juicers - Improve Your Health With Wheatgrass
There are several reasons to juice wheatgrass, the chief of which is that wheatgrass is a wonderful source of living chlorophyll. Chlorophyll is a pigment in plants that contains magnesium. The juice that is the product of wheatgrass being juiced is extremely full of vitamins and nutrients and while the juice is fresh it is rated as one of the best juices to consume for anyone and everyone.
This grass is wheat in its early stages and once the grass reaches about seven or eight days it is at its optimal stage to be picked and juiced. The juice must be drunk as soon after juicing as possible to ensure that you receive the most nutritional rewards from your hard work. Chlorophyll contains high levels of oxygen and is responsible for keeping plants oxygenated.
For many people wheatgrass juice is viewed as having powers of rejuvenation, it has been called the plasma of youth as well as the life blood of plants and thereby being extremely beneficial to humans. If you look at all the elements that are absent in your body’s cells, there will be the realization that all of these, especially hormones, enzymes, nucleic acids and vitamins can all be regained by drinking the juice of this green health injection on a regular basis.
Over the years wheatgrass juice has displayed a very beneficial effect on many people who consume it on a regular basis. These beneficial effects have been shown to be both many and varied. Wheatgrass has been shown to cleanse the lymph system leaving the body in a far cleaner state than prior to the intake of wheatgrass juice. This juice has also demonstrated that it has the power to help build levels of oxygen and nutrients in the blood. Juicing wheatgrass also gives you access to a liquid that will help to restore balance to your body by removing the toxic metals that reside in your cells and your liver and kidneys will feel the wheatgrass’ nourishing and vitality restorative properties.
There are many juicers out there that will provide you with the means to juice your wheatgrass adequately and you will receive benefits from your juice, but in order to ensure that you receive the maximum beneficial effects from your wheatgrass juice, you need to use a juicer specifically engineered for juicing wheatgrass.
Since wheatgrass is very leafy it requires a different type of juicer to most fruit and vegetables. The best juicer to use is a masticating juicer that is built to handle wheatgrass because wheatgrass needs to be crushed to get the most nutrients out of your produce. I addition to juicing with the appropriate machine it is recommended that you grow your own wheatgrass so that you can be sure that you are drinking juice that has been made from wheatgrass that has been picked at the optimal time and juiced within a reasonable to ensure that you get a super drink from all the produce you juice.

Urging Cancer Patients to Avoid Antioxidants is Questionable Advice
Something about antioxidants could be putting cancer patients at risk – but it’s not the supplements themselves. Instead, it’s the lack of knowledge about how they may help fight malignancies that is the real danger, says cancer expert Keith Block. A report recently published in the American Cancer Society’s medical journal, CA, suggests cancer patients could be reducing the effectiveness of radiation and chemotherapy treatments by taking antioxidants. In fact, the article states, supplements might actually be “feeding” their tumors and even reduce their chance of a cure. Dr. Block points out, however, that the author of the article, Gabriella M. D’Andrea, MD, of Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center based her conclusions on a review of a handful of human trials that showed supplements often don’t benefit cancer patients and could cause them harm.
“The article ignored a growing body of published research that shows just the opposite. In fact, there is compelling data that the cautious and judicious use of a number of antioxidants can be helpful in the treatment of cancer, either as ‘stand alone’ agents or as additions to standard chemotherapy and radiotherapy,” says Dr. Block, Clinical Assistant Professor at the University of Illinois College of Medicine at Chicago.
According to the American Cancer Society (ACS), more than 1,500 Americans die from cancer each day. For advanced metastatic cancers, the prognosis is typically between one and two years. “Chemotherapy can improve survival for many of these individuals, but this often comes at the expense of toxic side effects that can at times be more frightening than the disease itself. However, some physicians have found that patients who receive antioxidant-rich nutrition experience fewer side effects during and after chemotherapy. Many also believe that treatment response and survival are also improved,” Dr. Block notes.
There is a growing body of scientific research to back this up, including the gold standard of evidence-based medicine — randomized controlled clinical trials. “Glutathione has been shown to significantly reduce the various toxic effects of cisplatin and other chemotherapy drugs in six randomized controlled clinical trials to date. Not one of these studies found any sign of interference between glutathione and the various chemotherapy drugs,” Dr. Block says. He adds that studies of the potent antioxidant called melatonin have been even more favorable, including multiple studies showing significant improvements in both outcome and survival in advanced cancer patients undergoing chemotherapy.
The numbers of studies showing positive results of cancer therapies supplemented with antioxidants is far larger once non-randomized studies are included. “Although those trials are not considered the gold standard for medical evidence, it’s worth noting that virtually all of them suggest favorable outcomes or at least no interference with chemotherapy,” says Dr. Block.
So where does the idea come from that supplements could be harmful to cancer patients? Dr. Block explains that some chemotherapy agents create free radicals or similar molecules called reactive oxygen species (ROS). ROS are highly reactive and unstable forms of oxygen that have the capacity to damage genes and other cell structures. These in turn cause the intended cellular damage to cancer cells. Because antioxidants are used to counteract the damaging effects of ROS, some researchers assume concurrent use of antioxidants should limit the effectiveness of chemotherapy drugs that rely on ROS and may advise against the use of antioxidants with all chemotherapy agents, regardless of whether or not they create ROS.
“This is a speculative theory,” says Dr. Block. “In fact, other cancer researchers like myself work from the premise that cancer and many anticancer treatments can result in the increased production of free radicals and ROS that tend to fuel the progression of the cancer. In other words, oxidation promotes malignant progression and drives a cancer cell to become even more aggressive. This helps explain why numerous antioxidants have been shown to slow the growth and spread of cancer. Some scientists think that the ROS produced by chemotherapy drugs may actually hinder the effectiveness of the drugs themselves.”
Dr. Block says both sides of the antioxidants-in-cancer-therapy debate can agree on one point: more research is needed to find out how to best use supplements to help fight cancer. “However, I take issue with physicians who say that patients should be advised against taking antioxidant supplements because not enough evidence exists to support their efficacy,” he states. “Patients certainly should not indiscriminately take antioxidants in hopes that they will be helpful; they need to consult with practitioners who are experienced in this area before choosing to use antioxidant supplements with chemotherapy. I believe, in particular, that people who face a late stage, more advanced or life-threatening cancer should use every tool at their disposal to prolong survival, under the guidance of physicians who are open to the use of supplements and who have worked with patients in this situation. For the moment, the bulk of the evidence supports the use of antioxidants with the cancer patient. Until well designed studies actually show a real interference, I will continue to urge patients to use supplements that appear to have the ideal composition for combating cancer, improving the ability to better tolerate treatment and for supporting the treatments these patients receive.” Dr. Block is Medical/Scientific Director of the Block Center for Integrative Cancer Care and Optimal Health.

The Block Center for Integrative Cancer Care and Optimal Health, located in Evanston, Illinois, was founded in 1980 by Penny and Keith Block, M.D. with a focus on treating the patient as a whole person, not treating just the diagnosis or symptoms. The Center’s research-based treatment integrates an innovative approach to the best of conventional medicine with scientifically sound complementary therapies — therapeutic nutrition, botanical and phytonutrient supplementation, prescriptive exercise, and systematic mind-body strategies — to enhance the recovery process. Block has pioneered this “middle ground” approach to cancer care and optimal health – designing a total treatment plan that is tailored to the precise needs of each patient, using a unique set of clinical and laboratory assessments. The Block Center is breaking new ground with the creation and development of Cancer Rehab as an innovative treatment modality, and is currently the only private North American medical center using chronomodulated chemotherapy. While the Block Center is a full treatment clinic, it is involved in clinical cancer research with other university facilities in the United States and Israel (www.blockmd.com).

Let Your Feelings Be Your Guide
The light of all eternity shines with me now /
My feelings light up my life /
How I find my way is determined by them /
They illumine my path and show me who I am
When I was young, I felt so many things /
Then came the day when I could not stand the pain /
My world was chaos then, filled with sorrow and grief /
So I closed up to protect that fragile Self within
Years would go by before I could open again /
I was forced to by circumstances beyond my control /
Life dealt me blows which I later recognized as my own /
To awaken me to that sorrow deep within my Soul
I worked hard to find my way back to the Light /
To that place within where I could feel once again /
There my Heart shone forth with a brave face /
And shed light on all that I had concealed
Now I see how I closed that tender-hearted Self /
How I froze in the face of my destiny /
Troubles swirled around as a constant source of grief /
And I fell to sleep out of fear
I am awakening now to the deep void within /
Where I’ve stored all those troubles and pain /
I fight my way back to that center once again /
So I can come forth completely and be true
My life moves forward as of this day /
When I committed to finding my true Self /
I’ve engaged all manner of demons on this journey /
To return to that Source deep inside
I wish for life to fill me now and bring all it can /
I am thirsty for experience and for growth /
I want lavish riches from my Soul to fill me /
So that I can truly enjoy all that I behold
This work is sometimes difficult as I have learned /
But no more than any task requiring Love /
This journey enriches me with its purpose /
And fills me with Life and Soul
This is my gift to myself, my own holy Soul /
To have, to hold and to behold /
This Heart that bled is now healing its wounds /
And can prosper again from what Life brings
Let there never be a return to where hurts cramp me up /
And fill me with bitterness and pain /
I am awake now, yes, and can move ahead /
To appreciate all that Life has assigned
Oh glory to you, my Sweet Soul, for coming this day /
I thank you from the bottom of my Heart /
We two can sing together the praises of Love /
That take us forward on this journey through time
Never let it be said that one so deserving /
Could not find his or her way Home /
All whom will follow shall see this Light in turn /
And know that their journey can be won
I take you with me now, my Sweet Soul /
For you are here in my hands /
Where I can behold you /
And together, we can be so bold
“Move on,” you say to me. “Move on, my love /
The Light wishes for us to do so” /
And my Heart sings with the possibilities /
So that “Yes” is the answer I can render with ease
My Heart is filled with Love and joy in this moment /
Knowing that I am with you, my Soul /
My feelings tell me you are there and always were /
Till that sleep came over me earlier on
By awakening to your touch do I know You /
And find my own truth there in your eyes /
You show me through Love what my purpose can be /
I am inspired by this attentive design
I am pleased we are here together, in this life /
I am pleased that our love is so strong /
For now I can reach you, my Sweet Soul Sublime /
When you call to me from deep within my Heart
I have your answer Dear, and know this to be true /
That you and I are forever to be born /
In this life or another, we join with each other /
And We Soar . . . And We Soar . . . And We Soar . . .

Editorial: Christmas or Xmas?
To all of my concerned citizens:
I walked into Wal-Mart today and the retarded person, who could
barely speak a syllable correctly [thanks to EOE employment],
mushed out ‘Happy Holidays’ to me as I entered the church
[sorry, supermarket]. I looked at Timmy with a glare of
discontent; I am a born-again Christian and I prefer to hear
‘Merry Christmas’…I guess the short yellow bus didn’t bring
you to such enlightenment. Being an alcoholic and heroin addict
brought me to Christ. This is the time of our Lord and I don’t
appreciate the trained hippies excluding Christ from our annual
nomenclature.
Why did he tell me ‘Happy Holidays;? Hasn’t he been waching Fox
News Channel? Bill O’Reilly is explicitley detailing the
problems that political correctness has caused our country.
Corporations are too busy trying to sell wares than pass along
our American [they’re takin’ our jobs!] culture. 90% of our
country are Christians, hence Christ, thus celebrating our
annual holiday of ‘Christ’mas, not Happy Holidays. That just
gives leeway to the damn Jews and Muslims [who are godless
heathens anway- notice my non-capitalization of god] and their
attempts to change our meaning of Christmas. Yes, Adam Sandler
is cute, but is still going to hell. I buy my kids all the toys
they put on their wish list to Santa Claus, and there is nothing
more spirited than that. They are happy on December 25th, just
as the world was happy when Christ was born to save our sinning
souls. He was nailed to a cross for that retard at Wal-Mart to
tell me ‘Happy Holiday’?
Let’s take our country back. Hell, with all the Mexicants and
other foreigners trying to attack our country daily, the least
we could do is give thanks to our Lord and Saviour that will
save us from these damn freeloading bastards. Keep Christ in
Christmas, and tell that Wal-Mart loser you are a Christian!

Business VoIP
Organizational structures in businesses have evolved from being in centralized locations to having offices that are located all across the geography. The concept of network organizations enables employees, who work in groups for a project, to be at different locations. PC-to-PC connectivity has enhanced the capabilities to transfer files and to conduct net meetings by such employees over the Internet.
Before the advent of Internet telephony, businesses with multiple locations and employees always on the move had to incur heavy charges for communications by way of long-distance calls and international calls. This is obvious from the fact that a traveling sales representative once had to report to the corporate office about the sales figures through public phones or mobile phones. With the arrival of local and wide-area networks, connectivity issues between fixed locations became lessened. But the charges incurred for the maintenance of such legacy systems were high because of administration costs and network management.
The components for business Voice over Internet Protocol, or VoIP, are the same as those for any other VoIP applications, except for the ownership of network infrastructure such as IP PBX and other routers for network management. Also, Voice Facilities Managed services are provided by VoIP providers, obviating the need for ownership of infrastructure.
The features available in VoIP are calling extension, caller account information and seamless call transfer, which are essentially the same as those provided by traditional PBX. In addition, the major advantage is for network administrators. As VoIP network and architecture can be managed through web interface, the job has become easier by remote maintenance. Further, the need to call the vendor for configuration in terms of Move, Add, and Change (MAC) is reduced. The other advantage is for the employees, who can make free calls through soft phones with their laptops from any location.
The limitations for IP telephony for businesses are in the form of power outages, as VoIP networks depend upon a power source, unlike PSTN lines, which carry power along the lines. Still, businesses are rapidly adopting the evolving technology, which is illustrated by the fact that the IP PBX market alone will generate $9 billion by 2007.
VOIP provides detailed information on VOIP, VOIP Providers, VOIP Phone System, VOIP Solutions and more. VOIP is affiliated with Wireless IP Phones.
